In today’s edition of our continuing Not A Word About Hockey series we’re going to talk to Krylia Sovetov Moscow’s Sergei Odinokov. 16-year-old forward shares how he spends his spare time, how different he is on and off the ice and his desire to become and architect.

Spare time

- Team doctor dictates what I eat. I really like marble beef steak. It’s my favorite meal.

- I have a pet. It’s a German shepherd Bosco. I think it’s boring not to have pets.

- I enjoy calm and relaxed vacation. I prefer to spend time at the beach. I really want to go to the Maldives.

- The latest movie I enjoyed was Rampage. Dwayne Johnson is my favorite actor.

- I listen to all kinds of music. The latest track I added to my playlist was Captain by Miyagi.

Character traits

- I’m a kind and caring guy. My biggest asset is that I want to help other people. As for downsides, I can name two – I have a quick temper and can be aggressive sometimes.

- A real man must be responsible, provide for himself and the woman he loves, and have good manners.

- When I meet a new person, the first thing I look at is how they’re dressed. I think, that’s what a lot of people do.

- I inherited good upbringing from my parents. I’m very grateful to them for everything.

- I am a little superstitious but I wouldn’t call myself a gambler. It’s a 50-50 case, though. It all depends on the situation.

Style

- I don’t look up to anybody in terms of men attire. I don’t pay attention to clothing brands. Black is the predominant color in my wardrobe. I like sport style but classic as well.

- Giogio Armani is my favorite perfume. It’s the one I use the most

- I can’t grow a beard yet and I don’t really want to.

Relationship

- I have a girlfriend. Her name is Diana. She likes hockey. She comes to my games and supports me in everything. She’s perfect for me.

- Relationship can’t be an obstacle in career. Every person needs to be supported and to have his loved one by his side.

Career and studies

- If it weren’t for hockey, I would have been an architect. It’s an exciting and well-paid job.

- I go to Gorky-X school in Moscow Region. It’s located in Odintsovo District. I study online and just passed 10^th Grade.
