Traditional pre-season tournament HC Salavat Yulaev Cup action continued on July 31st. Exhibition games were also held in Setun, Vladivostok and Togliatti.

In the first game of the day Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk blanked Avto Yekaterinburg, scoring three unanswered goals. Ivan Alexeyev, Vasily Atanasov and Vladimir Korobintsev had a tally each. Ilya Stupin posted a shutout.

Taifun Primorie Region played hosts to Amurskie Tigry Khabarovsk in Vladivostok. Regulation solved nothing and the visitors went on to win in overtime. Semyon Sidorov scored the winner. Khabarovsk also prevailed in the shootout 2-0. Ignat Korotkikh and Danil Fyodorov converted on their attempts.

Atlant Moscow Region got their revenge in Setun as they faced Krylia Sovetov Moscow for the second consecutive time, thus ending ‘Soviet Wings’ 3-game winning streak this pre-season. Mytischi players also won the shootout as Matvei Nosov and Vladislav Leschenko converted on their attempts.

Last game of the day took place in Togliatti as Ladiya played hosts to NJHL team Dizelist Penza. The visitors came back from behind three times and dominated in the third period, netting five goals against one, to turn the game around and win in high-scoring fashion.
