About the League
In the 11th season of Junior Hockey League, the Challenge Cup changed again, and it is no coincidence. The new trophy was made in a single style concept with the Kharlamov Cup, which was also updated prior to the 11th JHL season.
Challenge Cup has become taller and more massive. The height of the trophy was 500mm, while the weight was almost 15kg. At the base in a circle there are plates on which the name of the winning team and the year of winning the trophy are now engraved. The base and the bowl are interconnected by stylized lightnings and metal hockey sticks. The battle between the two conferences is reflected by the names ‘East’ and ‘West’, while the puck with the Challenge Cup logo is place in the center..
The cup is made of copper group metals (brass, nickel silver), hardwood, tinted in black color, cabochon cut ornamental stones - black onyx and cast plexiglass were used.
