Atlant bulldoze Loko in Yaroslavl

Reigning Kharlamov Cup champions Loko Yaroslavl suffered a surprisingly lop-sided loss in their second exhibition game of the pre-season, in which ‘railway men’ faced Atlant Moscow Region. The visitors shutout Loko 6-0. Grigory Seleznyov scored twice, while Alexei Rybin, Matvey Kokovin, Daniel Usmanov and Nikita Gergankin got a tally each. Goaltender Danila Fomin finished the game with a shutout.

Ladiya beat Sputnik for the second time

Ladiya Togliatti also blanked Sputnik Almetyevsk. The teams couldn’t get on the board in the first 40 minutes of play. Togliatti established a 2-0 lead early in the third stanza as Danila Lotov and Stanislav Rangayev got a tally each. Veniamin Zitzer scored another one midway through the period to set the final score. Arseny Nikonorov allowed no goals.

Kapitan win in Moscow Region rivalry

HC Kapitan Stupino beat Russkie Vityazi 4-3 in the shootout. Ilya Kozhukhov got a pair of tallies, while Timofey Nedokushev added a goal of his own for Stupino. Kirill Melnichenko scored the shootout-winner.
