Taifun beat Atlant in high-scoring game, lost in shootout
Atlant Moscow Region faced Taifun Primorie Region at Arena Mytischi practice rink and lost 6-5 in a high-scoring game. Pavel Yelizarov, Alexander Sychushkin, Leonid Pasmanik, Alexander Nikolayev scored a goal each for Primorie Region, while Ivan Bunov got a pair of tallies. Atlant got markers from Grigory Seleznyov, Alexei Rybin, Roman Daryin, Artur Demidov and Daniil Shushin. Atlant beat Taifun in overtime and shootout.
Russkie Vityazi and Kapitan trade wins
Russkie Vityazi and HC Kapitan Stupino went up against each other in Chekhov, Moscow Region. The teams engaged in a game, spread across four periods 30-minute each of continuous time. Both teams split their roster in half, with every side playing two periods. Kapitan’s first team won 3-2 (Grigory Ponkratov scored a pair of goals, while Ivan Kazakov added one of his own). However, Kapitan’s second team lost 4-0, failing to score a single goal. Damir Shirgaziyev and Maxim Rastvorov got a tally each for Atlant, while Ivan Zinchenko and Daniil Baklastov got two tallies each as well.
Sibirskie Snaipery lose in Molodechno
Sibirskie Snaipery lost to Dinamo-Molodechno in Belarus in a hard-fought game. Home team won 4-3 in regulation. Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Sergei Dubakin and Makar Nikishanin scored for the ‘Snipers’. The teams proceeded to play overtime in the 3-on-3 format, in which Sibirskie Snaipery allowed two goals.
JHC Spartak lost to Team Belarus
JHC Spartak Moscow played their first exhibition game of the pre-season at Arena-Minsk and lost to U20 Team Belarus. The red-and-white allowed three unanswered goals in the opening period but managed to get back to within one as Alexander Kvartalnov scored twice in the second frame. Yegor Maklozyan tied the game at 3-3 but soon after that Moscow allowed two more goals and Dinamo-Molodechno went up 5-3. The teams played overtime period after regulation in the 3-on-3 format and also engaged in a 5-attempt shootout, in which Spartak prevailed. Oskin, Maklozyan, Novruzov and Kvartlanov converted on their attempts.
