11th Junior Hockey League Challenge Cup is to be held in Moscow in early 2020 and once again will be part of All-Star Week festivities, which this time will take place in Russian capital.

JHL Challenge Cup game will take place on January 12th, 2020 at VTB-Arena. The venue will also host Women’s Hockey League All-Star Game, KHL Skills Competition and KHL All-Star Game.

Top JHL players have competed for the right to be called the strongest conference in All-Star Game format. Team West currently leads all-time series 8-2. Western Conference also prevailed at the latest JHL Challenge Cup, which was held in Nizhnekamsk.

Four top players of the 2020 JHL Challenge Cup will participate in the main event of the 2020 All-Star Week – KHL Skills Competition and KHL All-Star Game.

JHL Challenge Cup brings together top JHL talent, divided into two teams representing Western and Eastern conferences.

The trophy’s history dates back to 2010 when it was first disputed at one of the largest rinks in Russia – Ice Palace in St. Petersburg. Over the ten years the game was held several Russian cities – Ufa, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Cherepovets and Nizhnekamsk. In 2020 the game will be played in Moscow for the first time.
