Junior Hockey League presents pre-season plans for every club. Today we take a look at Avto Yekaterinburg and Almaz Cherepovets.

Avto Yekaterinburg

The team will open their pre-season with a camp in Novouralsk, which will last from July 7th to July 27th. The team will then travel to Ufa to participate in HC Salavat Yulaev Cup. The tournament will be held between July 28th and August 5th.

Aside from Avto, the following teams will also compete for the cup – Tolpar Ufa, Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk, Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk, Omskie Yastreby and Reaktor Nizhnekamsk.

Annual pre-season tournament TANEKO will be held in Kazan between August 7th and August 12th. Participants of the tournament are yet to be announced.

Avto will have another camp from August 14th to August 26th in Yekaterinburg. The team will compete at their final pre-season tournament in Chelyabinsk. Memorial Tournament will be held from August 27th to August 29th. SKA-Varyagi St. Petersburg, Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk and Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk will also participate in the tournament.

Almaz Cherepovets

Almaz departs to Adler on July 6th and will run their pre-season camp up until July 18th. It will be followed by a 10-day camp in Cherepovets.

Annual pre-season tournament Belyayev Memorial will take place between July 29th and August 3rd. This year, aside from Almaz, it will feature JHC Spartak Moscow, JHC Dynamo Moscow, Taifun Primorie Region, Metallurg Cherepovets and Krylia Sovetov Moscow.

Almaz will then have another camp in Veliky Ustyug from August 4th till August 10th.

Cherepovets will wrap up their pre-season at Bystrov Memorial, which will be held from August 14th to August 18th in St. Petersburg. Almaz will then return to Cherepovets and practice until the start of the regular season.
