Moscow Region team once again missed the playoffs by a lot of points. Mytischi had a few really bright moments but the team catastrophically lacked consistency. On top of that Atlanty conceded way too many goals, even in the games against their main competition. Atlanty can be happy only about their narrow wins over renowned Junior Hockey League teams and a remarkable winning series in late October – early November. However, Vladimir Potapov’s team did not get off to a good start of the season. The team lost every chance of making the playoffs long before the end of the regular season, while an 11-game losing streak certainly didn’t boost the optimism of their fans.
