JHL official platforms will announce selection criteria for the 2019 Challenge Cup soon along with detailed information about events and activities at long-awaited All-Star Week in Tatarstan. Four best players of the Challenge Cup game will once again participate in the main event of the 2019 All-Star Week – Skills Competition and 4-team tournament, contested by the top players from each KHL division.

JHL Challenge Cup is a game between top Junior Hockey League players, who are split into two teams according to their conference – West and East.

The history of the cup goes back to 2010 when it was held for the first time at one of Russia’s largest arenas – Ice Palace in St. Petersburg. In seven years the game was also hosted in Ufa, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Cherepovets and Nizhnekamsk. In 2019 it will be hosted in Nizhnekamsk again and will be a part of the 2019 All-Star Week festivities in the Republic of Tatarstan.
