Ten regular season games took place in Junior Hockey League on February 20th. This time most of them were Western Conference matchups but it was Sputnik Almetyevsk and Irbis Kazan, which had secured a playoff spot the day before, who hit the ice first.

Kazan almost let this one slip away from them. Irbis were up by two goals in the final period of play but the visitors got two tallies in a span of 30 seconds and Tatarstan capital team had to push hard for the win. Kirill Krutov scored his 2nd of the game and Adel Minegaliev shut the door in front of his former teammates. Irbis win 4-2 on home ice.
