Six regular season games took place in Junior Hockey League on December 7th. First Irbis hit the ice with Kuznetskie Medvedi in Kazan.

Novokuznetsk had the lead three times but Irbis managed to tie it up every time and in the end won it in overtime. Kirill Krutov scored the game-winning goal for Kazan. Andrei Karavayev got two points for Kuznetskie Medvedi. With this 2-point win Irbis are now tied for 4th spot in the Eastern Conference with Avto Yekaterinburg.

Tolpar Ufa also came back from behind to beat Sputnik Almetyevsk. Ufa were down 2-0 after the opening period of play. However, they won the 2nd frame as they scored three unanswered goals, which proved to be enough to take three points on home ice. Mikhail Kotlyarevsky and Timur Akhiyarov scored a goal and picked up an assist each.

Russkie Vityazi beat Almaz Cherepovets 3-2 on home ice. With 92 seconds remaining to play in regulation Pavel Gorokhov scored the game-winning goal for Moscow Region. Cherepovets scored another goal a few shifts later but the puck crossed the line after the buzzer as was determined by video review.

Sibirskie Snaipery beat Ladiya in Togliatti with the same score – 3-2. Pavel Grishin brought Ladiya back to within one at 49-21 but just two minutes later Artyom Vladimirov scored the eventual game-winner for Novosibirsk.

Reaktor Nizhnekamsk built up a firm 3-goal lead by the halfway mark of the 2nd period in the game against Avto Yekaterinburg but the visitors still put up a good fight. Alexander Pavlenko put Avto on the board at 37-54 with a solo effort and just under three minutes into the 3rd stanza Pavel Voronkov converted on a powerplay to make it a 1-goal hockey game. Shortly after that Alexei Puzanov capitalized on a man-advantage as well to make 4-2 and then Bulat Shafigullin put it on ice with his 2nd of the game and 13th of the season. Defenseman Kamil Fazylzyanov picked up three assists in this one, while Razat Timirov enjoyed his 23rd goal of the year.

Loko Yaroslavl beat HC Kapitan Stupino 5-2 on the road. Nikita Zhukov was in the spotlight for ‘the railway men’ – within the opening nine minutes of play he scored two goals unassisted, including a powerplay marker at 8-41. Early in the 3rd stanza Zhukov picked up an assist on the eventual game-winning goal by Igor Zenchikov, which also came with a man-advantage. Vladimir Kapkin had two assists for Kapitan. Loko outshot their opponents 47-to-13.
