12 regular season games took place in Junior Hockey League on November 16th. Gameday began in Ussuriysk where Taifun played hosts to Almaz Cherepovets. Local were treated to a high-scoring game but they didn’t like the end result.

Primorie Region showed a lot of character tying the game after allowing a goal first, and then bringing it back to even again after Gleb Borulyov had scored a pair of powerplay tallies in the 2nd period of play. The visitors still walked away with a win as Vladislav Bulygin found the back of the net with just 15 seconds remaining to play in regulation. Almaz take it 4-3 in a hard-fought game.

Omskie Yasterby beat Kuznetskie Medvedi despite being heavy outshot by the opposition. Omsk allowed a goal first but then scored three times in the 2nd period and that proved to be the key factor in the game. Novokuznetsk managed to get back to within one with a powerplay tally at 34-20 but late in regulation Maxim Melnikov converted on a penalty shot and set the final score. The Hawks win 4-2 on home ice.

Snezhnye Barsy allowed two goals in the third period but their 3-goal lead proved to be insurmountable for Tolpar. Astana went on to take three point on home ice. Yegor Yaroshenko, Batyrlan Muratov and Maxim Musorov scored for Snezhnye Barsy. Notably, Musorov scored his 1st career JHL goal.

Stalnye Lisy Magnitogorsk steamrolled over Tyumensky Legion as they scored nine goals and allowed just two. Tyumen coaching staff swapped their goaltenders three times but the Steel Foxes were unstoppable. Pavel Dorofeyev and Yegor Korobkin scored two goals each, while home team converted on a powerplay three times. ‘The Legion’ loses and 9-2 leaves Magnitogorsk with zero points. They lost two games by a combined score of 13-2.

Another blowout win was enjoyed by Avto as they scored seven unanswered goals on Altay in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Alexander Sevostyanov scored a pair for Yekaterinburg. Artyom Belotsky picked up three assists. 17-year-old Vladimir Galkin stopped 28 shots and got his first career Junior Hockey League shutout.

Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk beat Sibirskie Snaipery and didn’t let the latter to get closer to Eastern Conference top teams. ‘Polar Bears’ won the game 6-3. Danil Zinovyev scored two goals for Chelyabinsk, while Nikita Shashkov scored a goal and picked up two assists for three points for the visiting team.

Sarmaty Orenburg completed a great comeback in the game against Mamonty Yugry. The visiting team was up by three goals a few minutes into the 3rd period but Orenburg managed not only to bring the game back to even, but also won it in overtime. Ivan Kurov was one of the heroes of the game as he pushed his team forward. He also scored the game-tying goal at 56-57 on a powerplay. Nikita Lyubishkin scored the winner 48 seconds into the extra period of play.

Almetyevsk managed to tie the game up early in the 2nd period as Maxim Sarapultsev found the back of the net but Maxim Bain put Kazan back in the lead before the intermission. Daniil Zhuravlyov scored a pair of goals early in the 3rd frame and essentially put it out of reach – he got the tallies in under two minutes. Irbis take it 4-2 on the road.
