About the League
2017 Junior Club World Cup round robin came to an end in Sverdlovsk Region.
Two Russian Junior Hockey League teams topped their groups – Avto Yekaterinburg and Krasnaya Armiya Moscow.
JHL reigning champions got nine points out of nine in Group B as they won all three of their games in regulation. Snezhnye Barsy Astana finished second with six points. Czech Trinec Ocelari got three points, while Swedish MODO did not get a single point in three games.
Avto topped Group A with two regulation and one shootout win. Swiss Davos, who made their debut at the tournament, finished second with four points. HK Riga and Jokerit got three points each but Latvian team finished third due to win in head-to-head game.
