Russkie Vityazi Moscow Region forward Valery Bochkaryov is named the first star of October 25th gameday.
Last night Moscow Region team hosted Amurskie Tigry Khabarovsk and the teams treated the fans to a real show. Russkie Vityazi had the lead for the majority of the game but gave up it in the third period of play and had to come back from behind themselves. They managed to tie the game up in the dying seconds of regulation and lost it in overtime 6-5. Valery Bochkaryov registered two tallies and added an assist to that for a total of three points. He also was the one who tied the game up when it looked imminent that Amurskie Tigry would take the game in regulation. The forward also opened up the scoring in the first period and assisted on German Rubtsov’s marker – that was Russkie Vityazi’s fourth goal of the game.
18-year-old Vaelry Bochkaryov is currently in his fourth MHL season. Last year he played 27 regular season games, scoring seven goals and notching 22 assists for a total of 29 points. Overall Bochkaryov played 109 MHL games, scoring 16 goals and notching 42 assists for a total of 58 points.
