FIRST STARS OF THE DAY. TOLPAR FORWARDS RUSLAN GAISIN AND GLEB KUZMIN
On October 19th we selected two first stars of the day – they are Tolpar Ufa forwards Ruslan Gaisin and Gleb Kuzmin.
Last night Tolpar faced Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk and enjoyed a 7-3 win. Despite the final score, it was a hard-fought game, and at one point the visiting team had to come back from trailing 2-0. Gaisin and Kuzmin scored two goals and added two more assists to that for a total of four points each. They are currently first and second respectively in scoring on their team.
This 19-year-old Gleb Kuzmin’s third MHL season. He was the most productive in 2014-15 when he scored seven goals and notched nine assists for 18 points in 35 games. This year Kuzmin played 17 games, scored seven goals and added eight assists to that for 15 points.20-year-old Ruslan Gaisin is in his sophomore MHL season. In 2015-16 he played 42 regular season games for Tolpar, scoring nine goals and 19 assists for 28 points. He currently tops his team in scoring with seven goals and nine assists for 18 points in 17 games.
Tolpar Ufa will play their second game of the back-to-back series against Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk this Friday, October 21st . You can watch the game live at Molodyozhnaya Hokkeynaya Liga official website. The puck drops at 5pm.
