First star of October 11th gameday is Amurskie Tigry Khabarovsk forward Artur Gizdatullin.
Khabarovsk enjoyed their eighth consecutive win this Tuesday as they beat Dinamo St. Petersburg on the road. Gizdatullin tied the game up twice in the second period of play, as he got two powerplay markers. In the third period he added two assists to that for a total of four points. Amurskie Tigry went on to win it 7-4.
This is the third MHL season for 19-year-old Gizdatullin. He played for Chayka Nizhny Novgorod for two years and won the Kharlamov Cup with Vyacheslav Ryanov’s team. Last season he played 44 regular season games with Nizhny Novgorod, scoring 11 goals and notching 18 assists for a total of 29 points. In 17 playoff games he scored four goals and added three assists to that for a total of seven points.
