Irbis Kazan forward Mikhail Shestopalov is the first star of October 10th.
Kazan snapped Sarmaty Orenburg’s winning streak as they enjoyed a blowout win. Dmitry Balmin’s men scored seven goals on Orenburg and didn’t allow a single one. Shestopalov got two tallies and added two assists to that for a total of four points. Those were his first goals in Molodyozhnaya Hokkeyanaya Liga. In the past eight games Shestopalov had an assist.
16-year-old Shestopalov is in his rookie MHL season. His team is currently sixth in the Eastern Conference. Irbis Kazan will play their next games October 16th and 17th in Astana, Kazakhstan. Kazan will face Snezhnye Barsy.
