Four teams received divisional championship awards before the first games of Round 1 of the 2016 Kharlamov Cup Playoffs
MHL executive director Alexei Morozov presented Omskie Yastreby Omsk and U18 Team Russia with their awards, while Loko Yaroslavl got theirs from MHL development director Sergei Yakovlev, while Stalnye Lisy Magnitogorsk received the honors from MHL sports department director Igor Romashin.
Loko Yaroslavl got 92 points in 42 regular season games and finished on top of North-West Division. U18 Team Russia won Central Division in their inaugural season as they got 83 points in 40 regular season games.
Omskie Ystreby Omsk topped the Eastern Conference with 93 points in 44 regular season games and won Ural-Sibir divisional championship title.
Stalnye Lisy Magnitogorsk got 88 points in 44 regular season games to edge Tolpar Ufa, who had the same amount of points but lost to the ‘Steel Foxes’ in goal differential.
