Krasnaya Armiya vs SKA-1946 in the finals! JHL deciding games schedule
Two Western teams are meeting in the 2021/2022 Kharlamov Cup final - Krasnaya Armiya (Moscow) and SKA-1946 (St. Petersburg).
Both teams got into the finals after winning Game 5 of semifinals series. The Moscow team beat Omskie Yastreby, and in the first two rounds they won the series against JHC Spartak and Loko. This will be Krasnaya Armiya’s record fifth finals appearance.
SKA-1946 did not lose a single game until the semifinals, they defeated both Krylya Sovetov and JHC Dynamo Moscow in three games. All five games had to be played for the St. Petersburg team to upset Irbis. SKA-1946 will make their third JHL finals appearance.
Omskie Yastreby won their first bronze medals, and Irbis won their second bronze medals in a row.
To win the Kharlamov Cup final series, a team must win 4 games. Game 1 and game 2 will be played on April 15 and 16 in Moscow.
