Danila Sachkov scored a goal and picked up two assists for a total of three points. After JHC Atlant Moscow Region had lost earlier, it would have been enough for Kapitan to beat Spartak in regulation or lose in either overtime or shootout with scoring just a single goal to keep the trophy at home. However, the red-and-white pounced on Mytischi’s failure, to whom they had lost earlier in the tournament, and didn’t leave any chances to the hosts.
