Salavat Yulaev Ufa signed a 2-way deal for one season with forward Rodion Amirov.
Silver medalist of U18 IIHF World Championship played for Parimatch Junior Hockey League’s Tolpar Ufa only in Kharlamov Cup Playoffs and won a bronze medal. Amirov played most of the season for men’s teams of the Ufa club – Salavat Yulaev of the Kontinental Hockey League and Toros Neftekamsk of VHL.
Amirov competed for Team Russia at the 2021 World Juniors and set a record for national Team Russia at the 2020 Karjala Cup, which his side won. Amirov was the youngest player to score at least a goal in his first three consecutive games for national Team Russia.
Overall the 19-year-old forward played 80 games in Junior Hockey League, scoring 30 goals and notching 31 assists for a total of 61 points.
