Oleg Tauber is the new head-coach of Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk

Khanty-Mansiysk made coaching staff adjustments. Oleg Tauber will be the new head-coach of Mamonty Yugry.

Tauber has worked at Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk junior hockey school for the past seven years. He coached players born in 2000, 2002 and 2006.

Under his command Yugrya-YUKIOR 2006 won bronze medals in Ural, Siberian and Privolzhie Federal Regions. He also led 2005 team to third place in All-Russian Finals.

Oleg Mikhailovich alumni compete for national and U20 Team Russia. Kirill Marchenko, Ivan Morozov, Danila Galenyuk and Danil Bashkirov are among them.

Oleg Tauber will be assisted by Dmitry Altarev, while Dmitry Mezentsov will be the goaltending coach.

Tauber has replaced Dmitry Burlutsky as Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk head-coach. The latter was at the helm for four years. In 2019 Burlutsky led the ‘Mammoths’ to Junior Hockey League bronze medals.
