Krasikov joins Spartak, Shemlyov moves to Ufa

Junior Hockey League media relations department reports the most interesting deals in Kontinental Hockey League involving JHL alumni and junior team roster changes.

Dynamo Moscow inked a 2-year deal with forward Artyom Fyodorov. The forward has competed for HC MVD Balashikha and JHC Khimik Voskresensk in Junior Hockey League. Overall he played 212 games in Junior Hockey League, scoring 67 goals and notching 94 assists for a total of 161 points. Fyodorov has played for Spartak Moscow, Salavat Yulaev Ufa and Dynamo Moscow in KHL.

Spartak Moscow signed a 2-way contract for one year with goaltender Alexei Krasikov. The 25-year-old netminder has played 127 Junior Hockey League games for JHC Atlanty Moscow Region and Sibirskie Snaipery Novosibirsk Region, winning a bronze medal with the latter. Krasikov has played for Sibir Novosibirsk and HC Sochi in KHL. In the 2017-18 season he participated in KHL All-Star Game. He also competed for Junior Hockey League Challenge Cup as a member of Team East.

Traktor Chelyabinsk inked a 2-year deal with forward Kirill Kapustin. The forward played 113 Junior Hockey League games for Loko Yaroslavl, scoring 22 goals and notching 23 assists for 45 points. World Juniors bronze medalist has played for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, Lada Togliatti, HC Sochi, Amur Khabarovsk and Traktor Chelyabinsk during his KHL tenure.

Salavat Yulaev Ufa agreed to terms of a 1-year contract with forward Sergei Shmelyov. As a member of JHC Atlanty Moscow Region Shmelyov has won bronze medals in Junior Hockey League. Overall he scored 68 goals and notched 97 points for 165 points in 189 games for the Moscow Region team and Bars Kazan. Shmelyov has played for Altant Moscow Region, Spartak Moscow and HC Sochi in KHL.
