This Sunday, March 5th, eighth Junior Hockey League regular season came to an end. 16 teams made Kharlamov Cup Playoffs and first round matchups were set.

The teams will play Round of 16 and Quarterfinal games of Kharlamov Cup Playoffs within their respective conferences. The team with a higher playoff berth will have home ice advantage. SKA-1946 St. Petersburg finished on top of the table and thus will have home ice advantage throughout their playoff run.

Round of 16, Quarterfinal and Semifinal stages of Kharlamov Cup Playoffs will be decided in best-of-five series. Game 1 and 2 will be played at the home rink of the team with a higher playoff berth in the matchup. Same goes for Game 5 if it’s going to be necessary.
