HC MVD Moscow Region forward Alexei Toropchenko is named the first star of October 28th gameday.

The day before Moscow Region team faced MHC Spartak Moscow in the second game of the back-to-back series. After the firs period of play ‘the Policemen’ had a one-goal lead but in the second and third frames both teams played offensive-minded hockey and the red-and-white won the game 7-4 in the end. Toropchenko partook in all four of his team’s goals – he registered his first career MHL hat-trick and assisted on Alexander Petunin’s marker.

17-year-old Alexei Toropchenko is in his sophomore MHL season. In the 2015-16 season the forward played 21 games for HC MVD, scoring one goal and adding two assists to that for a total of three points. Overall Toropchenko played 41 games in the MHL, scoring 11 goals and notching seven assists for a total of 18 points.

HC MVD Moscow Region will play their next games in MHL regular season on October 30th and 31st. ‘The Policemen’ will take on their regional rivals – Russkie Vityazi Moscow Region.
