Irbis Kazan forward Vladislav Kara is named the first star of October 26th gameday.
Irbis Kazan lost to Omskie Yastreby Omsk Region in one of the most exciting games of the season. Despite the loss, Irbis can be proud of the way the played – they came back from trailing 3-1 and had a shot at winning the game but then they allowed a goal in the third period of play and lost it in overtime. Omskie Yastreby enjoyed a 6-5 win in the extra frame. Vladislav Kara scored two goals and notched an assist for a total of three points. Kara scored on a powerplay and even strength and then assisted on Maxim Marushev’s marker, who netted Kazan’s fourth goal of the night.
18-year-old Vladislav Kara is in his sophomore MHL season. In the 2014-15 season Kara played for Draguny Mozhaysk in MHL-B. He played 40 games, scoring 21 goals and notching 27 assists for a total of 48 points. In MHL-A Kara has played 50 games, scoring 6 goals and 13 assists for a total of 19 points.
